Plane Collides with UFO, damages nose

China Daily reports the damage was due to a collision with a bird.

However, The Aviation Herald says a bird strike was ruled out “due to a lack of blood, feathers or any other bird remains.”

A couple of pilots on The Aviation Herald website have commented that they experienced similar situations.
In those cases the damage was due to a damaged radar in the cone, causing the nose cone to collapse.

According to The Sun, experts concur the damage was not due to a bird. They say the plane’s elevation was too high for birds, and suggest another possibility could be a drone. The Sun says Chinese authorizes have yet to officially respond on the cause of the accident.

Going to town

I was just reading an article by Les Wilkins, "The Price of a Coffee" (http://wilkisworld.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/sat-in-starbucks-today-for-second-bad.html?m=1), and I commented with my thought on the subject:

You should see it where I live, our town Center has 7 coffee shops all two minutes walk away from each other at the further point, dominated by Costa. Coffee shops are glum places to sit in these days, the highlight of a visit being sat next to a window full of people marching about shopping with what's left of their (heavily) taxed incomes, before buying heavily taxed goods, and you can tell they know that too, a trip to town is no longer the leisure it used to be, more of a reminder of just how much our government had destroyed the economy and shopping venue variety
